Maybe the next time you're traveling through the Sun City, you will stop and spend a day, a weekend, or even longer in El Paso's largest tourist attraction, Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

With a population approaching 2 million, Juarez is more than twice the size of its' neighbor and sister city, El Paso, Texas, and is the forth largest city in Mexico. This is not a sleepy little border town.

Mexican border towns have a bad reputation that is often well deserved.  The average tourist crossing into Mexico at any of the numerous entry points along the 2000 mile border between the US and Mexico may well feel overwhelmed by the experience.  The unsuspecting will almost certainly be inundated by constant street venders and shop owners hawking their wide assortment of wares.  Not to mention the constant stream of beggars,  new sights, sounds, smells and apparently insane traffic laws.

Ciudad Juarez (Juarez City),  located in the state of Chihuahua (the largest of Mexico's 31 states),  is not without it's fair share of typical border town problems.  However, anyone that leaves here with this limited view has missed the real experience of this great city.

You will never have a better, or easier, opportunity to become a foreign traveler and visit a country with a different language, customs, culture, and history.  US and Canadian citizens do not even need a passport or visa.  All that's needed is the desire for a little adventure in your life and a great time.  We hope soon to be able to say
